Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Kojo Gyaase, who operates HomeSchool ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using HomeSchool you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use HomeSchool

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and is responsible for your use of the service.

2. Your account

• Registration requires a single-use invite code, issued after payment.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
• Accounts are personal; do not share or resell them.

3. Payment

Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Invite codes are single-use and non-transferable once claimed. Refund requests are handled case by case; email us within 14 days of payment if you have not used the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell or publish questions, lessons, videos or other course content;
• share answers to assessments or practice tests, or help others cheat;
• harass, threaten or post unlawful, hateful or explicit content in forums or tutor sessions;
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' accounts;
• use the service to break any law.

5. Content

Course content, questions, software and branding belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while your account is active.

You keep ownership of what you submit (writing, posts, ratings). You give us permission to store, display and process it to run the service. Ratings and testimonials you choose to make public may be shown on the site.

6. AI features

Hints, study tips and recommendations are generated by AI and may be inaccurate. Use them as guidance alongside the official explanations.

7. Tutor sessions

Tutors are expected to behave professionally, and so are students. Please cancel bookings you cannot attend. Report any inappropriate behaviour to us straight away.

8. No guaranteed results

We work to help you improve, but we do not guarantee any exam score, admission or outcome. Predicted scores and percentiles are estimates. HomeSchool is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board or any exam body.

9. Availability

We aim to keep HomeSchool available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using HomeSchool and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 5, 8, 11 and 12 continue after your account ends.

11. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ghanaian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app. Continuing to use HomeSchool after a change means you accept it.
